Three days later, she revealed that “Real Friends” almost didn’t make it to the album because the song had been finished too close to the deadline. It’s one of the songs she’s had the most fun writing for the album. “Real Friends” can be seen as a follow-up to her promotional single “I Have Questions”, where she confronts her supposed friends, as this track is Camila’s search for new friendships after leaving her unhealthy friends behind. It’s also one of the two tracks which Camila feels that best represent her in the album. Camila first performed this song on Lollapalooza Argentina 2018.
